What and Who are the Alumni of the Bachelor of Communication Science?
Bachelor of Communication Science alumni are members of society who have completed higher education in the S1 Communication Science program at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University. Alumni are part of our extended family and maintain a very close relationship with the Department of Communication Science, Diponegoro University. Alumni are those who have graduated with a Bachelor of Communication Science degree, i.e., S.I.Kom. Alumni also include individuals who have made significant contributions to the Department of Communication Science, who have studied in the S1 Communication Science program at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, UNDIP, as well as those who have come from abroad to study in both degree and non-degree programs.
“Studying at the Department of Communication Science, Diponegoro University, has been a valuable experience for me. I had the opportunity to meet lecturers who are very communicative and open to discussions about coursework. One of the reasons why lecturers and students become close is that students can address their lecturers with the informal Javanese honorifics ‘Mas’ and ‘Mbak.’ In addition, the campus frequently invites communication practitioners to share insights with students, which is essential in giving them a clearer picture of what to expect as they prepare to enter the professional world.”
