Graduates of the Bachelor of Communication Science Study Program at Diponegoro University are prepared to become competent, integrity-driven, creative, and adaptive professionals in dealing with communication dynamics in the digital era and global society.

1. STRATEGIC COMMUNICATION PROFESSIONAL

Graduates of the Bachelor of Communication Science Study Program at Diponegoro University are prepared to become competent, integrity-driven, creative, and adaptive professionals in dealing with communication dynamics in the digital era and global society.

2. MEDIA PROFESSIONAL

A professional or entrepreneur capable of designing, producing, and executing media management functions in the fields of journalism and creative content within a multimedia ecosystem, guided by the professional code of ethics.

3. COMMUNICATION ANALYST / RESEARCH ASSISTANT

A communication research practitioner capable of providing assistance in designing, executing, presenting, and publishing research results based on scientific ethics.

Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL) are the competencies expected to be possessed by graduates of the Bachelor of Communication Science Study Program as a foundation for contributing professionally and responsibly to society, the workplace, and the advancement of knowledge.

1. ATTITUDE

CPL1
Has integrity and independence in carrying out individual and professional responsibilities based on religion, morals, and ethics (A1).

CPL2
Has tolerance, social sensitivity, and an open mind to appreciate cultural diversity, views, religions, beliefs, and the opinions or original findings of others (A3).

2. KNOWLEDGE

CPL3
Master the basic principles of scientific philosophy, concepts and theories in Communication Science, and the basic principles of communication research in developing science and technology in the field of communication (P1).

CPL4
Master the basic principles, concepts, and theories in strategic communication studies and their application in commercial, social, and political contexts within a multiplatform ecosystem (P2).

CPL5
Master the basic principles, concepts, and theories in media studies and their application in journalistic and non-journalistic contexts within a multiplatform ecosystem (P3).

3. GENERAL SKILLS

CPL6
Able to apply logical, critical, systematic, analytical, and innovative thinking in the context of developing or implementing Communication Science by observing and applying humanitarian values and sustainability (KU1).

CPL7
Able to design solutions, ideas, and concepts by implementing Communication Science based on scientific principles, procedures, and ethics (KU2).

Able to work independently or collaborate across disciplines and platforms in carrying out professional duties and developing working networks with supervisors and colleagues, both inside and outside the institution (KU3).

4. SPECIFIC SKILLS

Able to plan, produce, and distribute messages for various purposes through various multiplatform communication channels in accordance with applicable legal norms, social norms, and ethics (KK1).

CPL10
Able to design, implement, and evaluate strategic communication activities in the fields of marketing communication, corporate communication, political communication, and social marketing communication (KK2).

CPL11
Able to design, implement, and evaluate media management, journalism, and creative content activities within multimedia and multiplatform ecosystems (KK3).
CPL12 – Able to design, execute, present, and publish communication research results with academic integrity (KK4).
