The realization of a high-quality higher education institution in communication science in the implementation of the three pillars of higher education (education, research, and community service) that has networks and reputation at both the national and international levels by 2024.

Mission

  2. Organize instruction in communication science based on the latest developments in the field and the communication profession.
  3. Conduct research in the field of communication science and publish it nationally and internationally.

Concentrations

Multimedia Journalism and Creative Content

The Multimedia Journalism and Creative Content concentration aims to produce professional journalism graduates capable of designing and executing professional work in the field of journalism (print, electronic, new media) based on the journalistic code of ethics. Additionally, graduates of this concentration will have the advantage of managing journalistic projects and possessing the ability to design creative content. This concentration also focuses on equipping graduates with multi-platform journalism skills and digital entrepreneurial expertise. Beyond practical skills for managing projects, graduates will also be able to conduct communication research using qualitative and quantitative approaches, present research findings in scientific forums, and write research results for scientific journals.

Strategic Communication

The Strategic Communication concentration aims to produce professional strategic communication practitioners capable of designing and executing professional work in the field of strategic communication (business/social/political marketing communication, advertising, public relations) while adhering to professional codes of ethics. Graduates of this concentration also have the advantage of managing projects in the strategic communication field with guidance and collaboration from professionals in strategic communication. In addition to professional skills, this concentration also provides graduates with the expertise to conduct strategic communication research using qualitative and quantitative approaches, as well as the ability to present research findings in scientific forums and write research results for scientific journals.
