Global Partners for a World-Class Learning Experience

As part of the Credit Transfer System program, the Department of Communication Science collaborates with several renowned international universities to provide valuable academic experiences for students of the International Class (IUP). Below are the profiles of our partner universities with which cooperation has been established:

Woosong University

Woosong University is located in Daejeon, South Korea. Established in 1954, the university has a long history in education, teaching, and training, with over 12,000 students and 780 professors. Woosong University uses a practice-based and theory-based curriculum. It houses three international schools, including the SolBridge International School of Business, Sol International School, and Endicott College of International Studies, all of which use English as the medium of instruction.

Kangwon National University

Kangwon National University is located in the provinces of Chuncheon, Samcheok, and Gangwon in South Korea. Established in 1974, this university is better known as KNU. It maintains a high level of quality in both education and research and offers a wide range of majors that are in high demand among students. In total, it has 19 faculties with 93 departments and 5 graduate schools.

Asia University

Asia University (AU) is located in Wufeng District, Taichung, Taiwan. Founded in 2001, the university offers education in the fields of health and medicine, computer science and electronics, creative design, management, humanities, and social sciences. AU aims to become a comprehensive international university, offering 28 departments and accommodating over 12,000 students as of 2018.

University Malaysia Sabah

University Malaysia Sabah (UMS) is the ninth public university in Malaysia. Located in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, this university was founded on November 24, 1994. UMS has three campus locations: in Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan in Sabah, and the Federal Territory of Labuan. To date, UMS has 10 faculties.

University of Malaya

The University of Malaya is a public research university located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is one of the top 100 universities in the world and is the oldest and highest-ranked university in Malaysia. Three prime ministers are alumni of this university. It was established in 1962 following the separation from the university located in Singapore. Currently, UM has over 2,500 students across 12 faculties.

Ateneo de Manila University

Ateneo de Manila University, also known as AdMU, is a private Catholic university in Quezon City, Philippines. Founded in 1859, it has grown into a recognized educational and research institution at both national and international levels. AdMU is ranked 601–650 globally in the QS World University Rankings, 124th in QS Asia, and 2nd in the QS National Rankings.

Taylor’s University

Taylor’s University is a private university located in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. Founded in 1969, it became a full-fledged university in 2010. The university is part of the Taylor’s Education Group. Taylor’s received an award in 2011 from the Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia as a “Professional Awards in Landscape Design and Planning.” Taylor’s offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programs, with a total of 16 departments and 4 faculties.

Radboud University

Radboud University is a public university located in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. It is better known by its abbreviation, RU. RU is ranked among the top 150 universities in the world. The university has 7 faculties, 12 programs (37 undergraduate and 75 postgraduate), and enrolls over 22,000 students. In September 2013, RU began offering 36 international master’s programs taught in English, alongside several programs in Dutch.

Nanhua University

Nanhua University is located in central Taiwan and has over 5,600 students and 468 academic staff members. Nanhua University offers over 300 study programs in English with an international focus, aiming to prepare students to become global citizens who can succeed anywhere in the world. The university aims to actively integrate educational resources and facilitate the promotion of international development.

Myeongji University

Myongji University (in Korean: 명지대학교) is a private Christian university founded in 1948 in South Korea. The university provides higher education in the fields of engineering, science, and humanities. Myongji University has two campuses: the Social Sciences Campus located in Seoul and the Natural Sciences Campus in Yongin, which is 35 kilometers (22 miles) south of the capital. The campus consists of 10 study centers, 42 departments, seven faculties, and eight specialized graduate programs.
