Bringing a Global Perspective to the Neighboring Country, Undip Communication Science Students Take Part in an International Study Program

Malaysia — Communication Science students from Universitas Diponegoro (class of 2025), Mutiara Rahmisya Amalia, Sara Uli Napitupulu, and Putri Nara Patricia Br Tampubolon, had the opportunity to participate in the program “The Art of Global Learning: Education, Culture, and Perspective – Study Lead to Malaysia,” held from April 16 to 20, 2026.

This program serves as a platform for students to broaden their international horizons through global learning experiences, cultural exchange, and the development of cross-border perspectives. Throughout the event, participants engaged in various academic activities, cultural exchanges, institutional visits, and collaborative discussions with other participants.

Through this program, Mutiara, Uli, and Putri gained new experiences in understanding the importance of cross-cultural communication in the era of globalization. Beyond focusing on academic aspects, this activity also provided space for participants to learn about cultural diversity, mindsets, and social dynamics within an international environment.

“This program offered an incredibly valuable experience because we were able to learn so many things firsthand, both from an educational and cultural perspective. We also learned how to build communication and relationships with people from different backgrounds,” said Mutiara Rahmisya Amalia, Sara Uli Napitupulu, and Putri Nara Patricia Br Tampubolon.

For the three of them, participating in the Study Lead to Malaysia program was a step toward developing personal skills, boosting self-confidence, and broadening their perspectives on global issues and the world of international communication.

Furthermore, this program also offered an opportunity to build networks with students from various regions and institutions. This experience is expected to serve as a valuable asset for their future academic and professional development.

Through their participation in this event, Mutiara, Uli, and Putri hope that more students will be encouraged to seize international opportunities and actively develop their potential on a global scale.
